As some of you all know, I am in the process of "recruiting" artists. And the reason I'm doing this is because, more than likely, by the beginning or mid 2007 I shall be setting up an Anime Production Studio out in the Seattle, Washington area. It's perfect location, because, things and supplies are more easily accessable. Also due to the fact that the recreation and entertainment aspect of the area is most wonderful. Like 5 different sushi bars in Seattle alone. lol.
Beginnings: This whole idea and plan originates from my freshman year of highschool. I started to get really into anime, and started to draw it. This new love, allowed me to find new friends that also shared the same interests. And one fine evening at a sleep over, the idea popped up. 'How about we start an anime studio of our own?' And so the idea has stuck with me ever since then.
Who: There is several of my good pals, whom I've met over the course of the last 5 years who are still very gung-ho about this.

Ursula: a pal of mine from High school, (who you can find on DeviantART http://urs.deviantart.com/). Artist, writer and photographer. She's great at all that she does. <3
Dana & Rachel: both of my sisters (http://drania.deviantart.com/ & http://rentheonly.deviantart.com , respectively), musicians and artists.
Alasdair: My good pal over in the UK, unfortunately you can't find him on DA just yet. But he will be one of the writers. He's currently in the midst of a piece that I would love to see us do in either manga or anime format. Personally, I think that manga would be best for this one. He, unfortunately has 5 more years of schooling to go through before he moves to the States.
Mel: Excellent artist. I met her also on DA (http://so-naa.deviantart.com/). I'm hoping that I can get her interest enough to join.
Pride: (http://wuth.deviantart.com) I'm not entirely sure about him. Great guy, great art. But he's always so iffy about this when I talk with him.
Chris: A youngin' I met through Pride. I've spoken with him about this, and apparently, he's gung-ho about creating a studio of his own. And we both agree that the talents that he's rounded up and the talents that I have, should join forces to battle evil! err... I mean create one huge studio with vast talents about it.
Brander: A friend of Dana's. Excellent technoist. I want him on my team when it comes time to producing sound tracks.

There are so many other people to credit here on who is REALLY gung-ho about this. But sadly, I have a hard time remembering everything. UGH.

What to do: Pride has a manga that he has been working on for quite some time. It's genre is steampunk. And I'm totally looking forward to seeing it. Also, I would like for the studio to start on Alasdair's story. I can't really give to much about it, or really anything at all. Since he's still in the process of finishing it, I'd like to kind of keep things secret at the moment. hehe. But, I can tell you one thing,......his story is fabulous. I've read bits and pieces of it, from what he's sent to me via e-mail, and it's just gorgeous. I'd love for it to come to life through anime art. It would be perfect. <3>

Where: As stated before, the Seattle, Washington area is ideal. But things can change in the next year or so. What has been laid down for a beginning plan, is that who ever is for sure going out there, we all rent a house for the time being. It would be nice, because then we are in a comfortable familiar setting, and it will be easier for us to produce works when not under the pressure of time constraints or bosses breathing down our necks. I personally plan on starting up a nice little 'hole-in-the-wall' bar in the area. And hopefully if all goes well, we can start to integrate what we do into the bar. I personally think it would be nice. And it would be nice to have a few of my employees be some of you guys, so then that way we ALWAYS know what's going on for pay and all.
